Modern Sanctuary Design by Renowned Architect in the Heart of Silicon Valley

Welcome to 100 New Place Road—a $35M glass-and-limestone masterpiece in Hillsborough that honestly feels more like a sanctuary than a house. The floor to ceiling windows frame the Redwoods outside and let you drift away into euphoria.

Architect Leonard Ng designed this to "float" within the forest, and capturing that on camera was a dream. Whether it's the massive walls of glass that completely disappear or the way the sunlight hits those 9.5-inch European Oak floors, every inch of this 11,000 sq. ft. estate was built to bring the outside in.

A few of my favorite moments from the shoot:

The "Floating" Feeling: The three-story design is so light and airy, you almost forget you’re inside.
The Wellness Wing: A full-blown spa with a dry sauna and cold plunge that leads right out to a private yoga deck.
The Light : Throughout the day, the light is magical as it changes. Streaming in through slats on the exterior and flooding those beautiful windows.
The Infinity Edge: Watching the pool bleed into the Hillsborough treeline at sunset.

I wanted to make sure the textures of the cedar and limestone really popped, so we leaned heavily into the dynamic range of the RED.
