चार बच्चों की हत्या से जुड़े साइको किलिंग के मामले में एक के बाद एक नए खुलासे हो रहे हैं। जांच में सामने आया है कि हत्यारोपी पूनम ने अपनी ही भतीजी विधि की हत्या अत्यंत क्रूर तरीके से की। पूनम बच्चों की हत्या के बाद हर बार अपने कपड़े बदल लेती थी, जो इस जघन्य अपराध और साजिश को दर्शाता है।

पूनम विधि को मारने के बाद भी अपने कपड़े तुरंत बदलकर दूसरी महिलाओं में शामिल हो गई थी। पूनम ने यहां एक बच्ची और एक महिला को कपड़े बदलने के अलग-अलग कारण बताए। पुलिस ने महिलाओं व शादी समारोह शामिल बच्चों से पूछताछ की तो शक की सुई पूनम की तरफ घूमती चली गई। पूनम ने पुलिस पूछताछ में भी दो बार अलग-अलग कहानी बताई। पुलिस ने सख्ती से पूछताछ की तो पूनम ने सारी सच्चाई उगल दी।

Family members of one of the victims told reporters that all three murders linked to their side of the family occurred on Ekadashi. Surendra, whose six-year-old niece Jia was allegedly drowned by Poonam in Sewah village in August, said he had immediately suspected her but did not go to the police due to social pressure.
