After 13 years of being stalked, a northern Michigan woman's fears came to life when the man stalking her kidnapped her and took her to a homemade soundproof bunker at a rental storage unit in Blair Township.
Monday that man was sentenced for the crime. For the last year and a half UpNorthLive News followed the legal proceedings of Christopher Thomas. In October 2022 he was arrested for kidnapping, torturing and stalking a woman. He later pled guilty to those charges.
