Police are investigating a reported case of kidnapping and rape involving a 24-year-old woman, who said she was attacked after accepting what she believed would be a lift to a specific location.

According to police reports, around 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2026, the woman was standing along Maraj Street, Longdenville, awaiting transportation when she met a man known to her.

After a brief conversation, the man agreed to take her to her intended destination.

However, instead of doing so, the suspect allegedly drove her to his home along Pokhor Road, Longdenville, without her consent.

Once there, the woman reported that the man sexually assaulted her against her will.

After the incident, the suspect reportedly dropped the woman off at a bar in Longdenville.
