Come with me on a tour to the top of Penshaw Monument, one of the North East of England's iconic landmarks!
I pre-booked my ticket on the National Trust website back in June, having always wanted to see the top of one of the North East’s most iconic landmarks. The cost of a ticket is £5 and allows for a half an hour slot to see the incredible views from this 70 foot high monument.
The views are absolutely incredible and it was such a lovely sunny day to enjoy spotting local landmarks in the distance! You can enjoy wide spread views of County Durham, Northumberland, Yorkshire Dales, Pennines and the Coast!
