Dear friends,
Today I have the great honor of opening a time capsule from the legendary Larus & Bro Company… a sealed tin of Luxury Cut Plug smoking tobacco from 1932. This blend hit the market it the late 1920s and was discontinued by the 1940s.
I absolutely love the tin art on this one. So creative and it really does have a Luxurious look about it. From what I can tell it looks like another classic Burley blend from the makers of Edgeworth. This was a little dry for my taste due to some pinholes so I will be rehydrating. Tin note was chocolate and earthy nuttiness.
Paired with the tobacco is a vintage unsmoked 1930s Yello-Bole imperial pipe complete with store display.
Pop goes my heart with this nostalgic treasure and I hope you enjoy as well!
