SERMON: Today's message calls us to move from spiritual ignorance and confusion into discovery and empowerment through the Holy Spirit. Scripture teaches that every believer has been given spiritual gifts—not as badges of status, but as grace tools to build up the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:7; Ephesians 4:7). These gifts originate in the generosity of the Father, are modeled through the ministry of the Son, and are empowered by the Holy Spirit to accomplish God’s purposes in the church. Just as the human body depends on every part functioning together, the church flourishes when each believer discovers and exercises their Spirit-given role. When we awaken the gift within us, we not only find deeper purpose and fulfillment, but we also release the power of the Spirit to strengthen the body of Christ and reveal Jesus to the world.
