The wind howled through the barren trees and silent mountains, but the warmth of a small fire flickering beneath a metal pot brought a different kind of comfort to the scene.
The old man, his hands cracked from the cold, kneaded the dough with care, softly murmuring a tune that sounded more like a whispered prayer. The old woman, with a shawl draped over her shoulders, carefully added spices and sugar to the mixture. Their gazes held a serene glow, as though each of their simple movements bridged a path to the memories of their shared past.
