Barbara Davenport passed away this past year on July 31. She was an amazing person and I am lucky to have shared many moments with her.
Barb smiled often and I enjoyed laughing with her while talking about the Catskills, honky tonk music, lacrosse, cooking, hiking, biking, baking, gardening, fishing, our families, farming, salads, baking, camping, traveling, music, skiing, field hockey, ice hockey, Johny Cash, Hank Williams, Jack Johnson, Susan Tedeschi, mashed potatoes, apples, Thanksgiving, seasons, beer, annoying students, brunch, summer, weather, holidays, flowers, and anything thing else meaningful to us in life.
Barb was knowledgeable and talented.
She was an outstanding Wife, Mother, Teacher & Friend.
Barb always wore a smile and laughed out loud often.
She loved many things and really loved hiking.
In this video I take a hike up Kaaterskill High Peak and out to Hurricane Ledge in honor of Barb while sharing stories of her amazing life.
Barbara Davenport was amazing and I miss her happiness.
