Heavy Gravel Soil Levelling and Compaction by Dozers and Rollers 4K

Описание: More soil compaction work is ongoing on the Sunyani Outer Ring Road project as heavy rollers prepare the road base for the next construction stages.

After the dozer levels the gravel sand, dump trucks deliver more material which is spread across the road section. A Bomag padfoot (sheepsfoot) compactor then moves in to compact the soil. The rough drum surface penetrates the loose material, creating small holes while compacting the layer to increase density.

Once this stage is complete, a Bomag smooth drum roller follows to further compact and smooth the surface, preparing it for the next layer of material.

This continuous process of dumping sand, leveling with a dozer, padfoot compaction, and smooth drum finishing helps ensure the road base is strong and durable for the Sunyani Outer Ring Road development.
