On April 13, 1943, mass graves were found in Katyń. The graves contained the remains of Polish officers murdered by the Soviet Secret Police, the NKVD. In 2007, a resolution by the Polish parliament established the day as the Katyń Massacre Victims’ Remembrance Day. Professor Marek Wierzbicki from John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, joins us to discuss the issue.
