Hi friends and welcome to my Advent Calendar Series, where I'll be sharing tutorials for 27 crochet patterns to make your own advent calendar!

In this video I'll be showing you how to crochet these Candy Cane and Gift Appliqués! Hang these on your advent calendar, sew onto projects, or use them as tree decorations!

Difficulty: Advanced Beginner

Finished Sizes: 3" x 2" (candy cane) / 2.5" x 2.5" (gift)

Supplies: (affiliate links)
Medium (4) weight yarn (I used I Love This Cotton!)
Candy Cane- Red (5 yards) and White (4 yards)
Gift- Red (6 yards) and Yellow (5 yards)
3.75mm (F) crochet hook ( https://amzn.to/3sILc0g )
Yarn Needle - https://amzn.to/3LB0vgv

Notes:
The CH at the beginning of each row/round does NOT count as a stitch.
Add hanging loops to your appliqués with 2-3" long strand of yarn, ribbon, or string.
Wet or steam block your appliqués to relax the stitches and flatten them out.
