Sky News host Chris Kenny slams Victoria Police Chief Commissioner Mike Bush for deciding to take a police helicopter all the way across Bass Strait to Tasmania for a conference.
“What is it with government-funded officials and government-funded helicopters?” Mr Kenny said.
“I don't know how the police commissioner recovers from this, I mean crime is a palpable issue in this city and this state, as you know, and here's the police commissioner busy taking chopper flights across Bass Strait.
“Priorities matter, and whatever you say, your behaviour betrays your real priorities.
“When you are paid good money by taxpayers to do a job, just focus on that job, not the potential for fringe benefits.”
