Rapid mixing granulator or RMG is used in pharmaceutical industries for manufacturing of tablets by wet granulation method.The kneading step of wet granulation is performed in rapid mixing granulator or RMG.
RMG has different components which are as below,
Mixing bowl
Pneumatic Lid
Impeller blades
Chopper
Binder hopper
Discharging chute
Wet Mill
The mixing bowl of RMG is made of SS grade 316L and is used to mix the powders and to make wet mass.
The lid of the rapid mixing granulator is pneumatically sealed and it has a binder hopper,light source & view port.
The wet mill of rapid mixing granulators is used to reduce the particle size of wet mass.
