End of September, the four of us went and hiked a piece of the Grand Canyon. Part one covers south rim to campground and a day hike the following day (Clear Creek trail).
We caught the early bus at 5 a.m. to take us to the trailhead.
South Kaibab to Bright Angel campground is approximately 13 miles with elevation loss of 4780 feet. It rained lightly in the beginning then turned out to be a beautifully hot day.
The views were epic! The group was awesome! We had such a blast doing it!
