This was a thought I had A LOT growing up.
When you’re part of one of those friendship groups where you’re not even sure if they like you.
You get weird comments from people who say they’re your ‘friend’, you don’t get invited to birthdays, and you can see them talking about you out of the corner of your eye.
I’ve been there.
The loneliness of having the wrong people around you, draining your energy, or making you feel unseen can feel DRAINING. But here’s the thing—having no friends in your 20s isn’t a problem. Being friends with the wrong ones is.
Sometimes, it’s better to have a few real connections than to force friendships that don’t serve you. Your peace is worth more. #earlytwenties
