On many occasions during my 20+ hours with action-adventure title Eternal Strands, I thought to myself, "Man... this game is ALMOST great." From its epic-in-scale yet mechanically repetitive boss fights, to its wonderfully voice acted yet slightly lukewarm script, Eternal Strands comes so close to a 5/5 on my 15-part scoring scale so many times, but it sadly falls just short each time.
