Episode Summary:
We are back on the roads with Cheshire Police’s elite team of motorway cops. With a quarter of cars in the UK now fitted with dashcams, it is easier than ever to access evidence of bad and dangerous driving. Narrated by Nicky Campbell, we follow the team as they crack down on some of Britain’s most serious driving offenders.
Tonight, PC Rich Woodward is on the hunt for a suspect in an uninsured vehicle that has been spotted swerving along the motorway. Upon questioning, Rich believes there is more to the suspect’s problematic driving and conducts a drugs test.
On the M6, PC Ian Cosgrove is making his way through rush hour traffic to reach the scene of a hit and run. Two vehicles have collided and there are reports of a car being stuck on a live lane. Will Ian make it to the scene in time to catch the suspect who has fled the scene?
And in the Cheshire countryside, there is confusion as PC Andy Duran tracks down a reported stolen car which is being driven by the owner.
