Beretta introduce sul sovrapposto Perennia un nuovo sistema di estrazione brevettato che consente la selezione tra espulsione automatica o semplice estrazione meccanica delle cartucce sparate. Quest'ultima modalità "ecologica" consente di recuperare più facilmente i bossoli nel rispetto dell'ambiente. Il dispositivo di commutazione è facilmente accessibile previo semplice smontaggio dell'astina.

In the new Perennia over-and-under, Beretta introduces a new patented extraction system that allows the selection between automatic ejection or simple mechanical
extraction of the fired shells. The latter, "environmentally friendly" mode, allows the easy removal of the shells from their chambers. The selector is easily accessed by
simply removing the fore-end.
