Fukuoka is the largest city in Japan's Southern Island of Kyushu. If you're looking to explore a bit of Japan's country side, while still being close to a major city, this is THE place to visit. Fukuoka is close to many different prefectures and it is the gateway to other cities in Kyushu, but in this video, we checked out places located in Hakata ward where its main station is named after.

Day 1: Pokemon Centre, Christmas Market (only open at a very specific time of the year), Hakata Issou (famous Tonkotsu ramen that originated on the island of Kyushu)

Day 2: Starting the day with breakfast made famous through social media, shopping at Lalaport Fukuoka, the first of its kind in Kyushu.

Day 3: Lunch at a restaurant famous for its pork cutlet
