Military drill tests South Korea and US sea warfare

Описание: A joint military drill between South Korea and the US has taken place close to Pohang using smoke bombs, landing vehicles and tiltrotor aircraft. The annual "Foal Eagle" exercise took place near the port city of Pohang, about 230 miles south-east of Seoul. Around 3,500 soldiers took part in the drill that is designed to test and increase military collaboration.

Tension remains in the region after reports North Korea moved two short-range missiles to its east coast. The United Nation imposed new sanctions against the North in response to a third nuclear weapons test. Report by Ashley Fudge.
