Solid WNW Swell Incoming for Pipeline! Double Overhead+ Sets Lining Up

Like we said in our last update, the Northwest Pacific is on a heater, dishing out solid energy for Hawaii. And it’s not done yet. Thanks to a new storm that’s been brewing the past few days, we’ve got another strong WNW pulse inbound for Sunday, February 23rd.

This one isn’t the most intense system in terms of wind speeds, but don’t let that fool you. The fetch is big, the sea-state was already fired up, and the storm’s movement is slow and eastward—exactly what we want. Expect this swell to fill in late Saturday, peak mid-Sunday, and hold through the evening with 7.5-8.5 feet of deepwater energy at 15s from 295-320°.

Size: Double overhead+ on sets, triple overhead bombs possible
Winds: Light NE-ENE in the morning, trending more offshore (E) by afternoon
Timing: Swell ramps up overnight, peaks mid-Sunday, holds all day
