2JZ Powered Streamliner goes 385MPH (620KPH) | NEW RECORDS at Bonneville Speedweek 2025 | RS Garage

Описание: During speed week this year Jay and The White Goose Bar team were able to take on some new records:

First up was Carson May in the #3240 Datsun 240Z , With a RSG1600 2JZ in class F/BFMS. He qualified the Datsun at 247mph (397KPH) in the 4th mile and off to impound the team went. Carson did his return pass at 244mph (392KPH) and set a new record of 246mph (395KPH). He may have the fastest entrance record of all 16-year-old inductees - ever. After that, the 240z was used for licensing 2 other drivers, Brad May and Rod MacMaster.

Next in the #369 Roadster, with a Brian Crower 90mm RSG1600 2JZ in class E/BFR Ryan Bosworth Qualified with a 260.220mph (418KPH) and for the return run he got a 262.800mph(421KPH), again in the 4th mile to set a new record of 261.510mph(420KPH). Ryan is the 10th #369 driver to into the Bonneville 200mph Club.

Again in the #369 Roadster this time with Mat Thomas behind the wheel in with a class change to E/BMFR. Mat qualified the roadster at 275.762mph(442KPH). The next morning Mat backed it up. He did 258mph in the first mile and 272.334mph(437KPH) in the middle mile, setting the new record at 274.058mph(440KPH). And that also got Mat into the Bonneville 200 MPH Club! Mat is the11th #369 driver to into the Bonneville 200mph Club.

The #987 Valley Fever Streamliner, with a 84.5mm Brian Crower RSG 1600 2JZ in class F/BFS on a 343mph (552KPH) record, was piloted by Jay Meagher. On the Final day of Speed week Jay qualified with a 347.292mph (558KPH). Jay’s return pass was even more impressive with the last mile at 375.403mph (603KPH) and an exit speed of 385mph (620KPH). Jay’s new record is 361.347mph (580KPH). And that was the final run of the SCTA Southern California Timing Association's 77th Speedweek and it was impressive!

The Dart-based 2JZ has a BC 84mm crank, BC 6300HD rods, BC276 cams, Manley Platinum series pistons, and a fire-ring copper gasket.
