CHEF ZOHEB SHAD'S BADAM KI JAALI RECIPE
Ingredients
250grams Badam
250 grams sugar
1/2 cup water
A pinch of cardamom powder
Milk as required

Directions for the Badam ki Jaali:
Boil and peel almonds. Grind to a thick fine paste using some milk. Add this mixture to a pan and cook on low flame stirring continuously.
Start making the sugar syrup by combining sugar & water. Cook till 3 thread consistency is achieved. Then add the syrup to almond mixture and continue cooking till the dough is formed. Cool the dough for few mins. Roll out the dough using powdered sugar. Cut desired shapes and designs. Add vark, or the thin layer of silver between the layers.
The Badam ki Jaali is ready to serve
