The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra has officially opened a new era at Powell Hall, unveiling the results of a $173 million renovation and expansion campaign. The project includes a revitalized concert hall with improved acoustics, new seating, expanded concessions and restrooms, and greater accessibility through additional elevators.
The renovation also added the Jack C. Taylor Music Center, providing modern rehearsal spaces, education facilities, and community areas designed to support the symphony’s growing mission.
