Описание: Ivy Kilar talks about the neurodivergent experience and its relevance to the traditional classroom. She shares her own experience growing up with dyslexia and ADHD and calls out the rigid parameters within the education system that fail to accommodate all learners, both neurotypical and neurodivergent. Ivy Kilar is a student at Lick-Wilmerding High School in San Francisco, California. Ivy is extremely passionate about neurodiversity advocacy and has pursued different avenues to spread awareness about the neurodivergent experience and the need for systemic change within the education system. She recently filmed and produced a documentary titled From Stigma to Strength: The Neurodiversity Project that is now screening at schools all across the Bay Area.
