What's up, everyone? In this video, we will be covering a team guide for Newcastle United, who despite a lacklustre 14th place finish in the 2004-05 season, were bringing in players with experience in UEFA's Elite competition, which made fans optimistic for the season ahead. In came Scott Parker, Emre Belozoglu, Albert Luque and one of the window's biggest coups in Michael Owen, but the biggest signing turned out to be holding on to captain Alan Shearer for one more season. After a torrid first half to the season, Graeme Souness was sacked to be replaced by Glenn Roeder, who steadied the ship to take the club to 7th place and an Intertoto Cup place.
