Loc Journey 🍃. Products That I Use On My Locs For Loc Maintenance.
First, I mist with water alone to get my locs damp (I do not overly wet them. I want damp not drenched/soaked).
Second, I go in with about a quarter size amount of 🍯 conditioner for my entire head.
Third, if I need to oil, I apply Camille Rose Rosemary OR Jamaican Black Castor. I don’t have a preference, whichever one I grab is the one I use. I oil once or twice a week now.
Fourth, on retwist day my loctician uses Joie MyGel (extra hold version). This is the only time I use a gel like substance on my locs.
As of now, these are the only products that I use on my locs outside of wash day products.
I need one more testin’ phase of my wash day products, then I’ll tell y’all what it is. Give me about two to three more weeks 😩.
If your fear or concern is buildup up then aye, all I can say is, keep them dried up locs 😩😭.
