The Yamaha U1 is a highly sought-after, renowned model due to it's fantastic sound, touch and also value for money! This model was originally built in Japan in 1967 and has been fully restored in the last few years. The action is beautiful, responding accurately to every nuance of your playing, while the sound is sonorous in the bass register while the treble maintains a crystaline clarity. Should you need, there is a middle 'celeste' rail for quiet practise.
The cabinet is in excellent condition although there may be a few small signs of wear/tear, nothing noticeable enough to photograph. It has been tuned regularly and is at concert pitch - this is a wonderful piano for a brilliant price!!
