This kata is not part of the classic curriculum of Matayoshi Kobudō but is taught by some teachers of this style.
The spread of this kata is due to master Kyan Chōtoku and some of his students who later came into contact with the Matayoshi school.
The form taught by master Andrea Guarelli at the Junshinkan Dōjō faithfully respects the form transmitted by Kyan Chōtoku sensei with some details more suited to the Matayoshi school.
Below is a comparative view with the execution of Nakazato Joen sensei, a direct student of Kyan Chōtoku sensei from whom he learned this kata.
