(20 Nov 2014) Finnish Prime Minister Alexander Stubb met South Korean President Park Geun-hye on Thursday in Seoul to discuss ways to strengthen their bilateral relations.
Both expressed their hopes that exchanges and cooperation between the two countries would increase.
Stubb also addressed students at Seoul's Yonsei University.
During his speech, he emphasised the importance of education and spoke about the challenges faced by Finland's economy.
Stubb will also meet with the South Korean Prime Minister Chung Hong-won later on Thursday.
The two men are expected to discuss ways to promote trade agreements and issues surrounding investment, science technology, creative economy and defence.
Stubb's four day visit to Seoul is his first official trip to Asia, since taking office in June.
