note from uploader : After hooking up a new digital antenna I find this movie first thing, can't believe it, it’s been almost 40 years since I first saw it. I just thought it was meant to be that I edit out commercials/upload this to youtube (since no one else has, and I know how) for more people to see and maybe be inspired as I was in 1981 when I first saw it. What a heartwarming true story. I have always wanted to work with these beautiful souls because of this movie, but I went into the entertainment business. After getting tired of the business and getting older I found out I just happened to have moved 2 blocks away from a place that helps adults with disabilities, in reaching their full potential as contributing members of the community, teaching them life skills in a wonderful facility and campus, with class rooms, stage for plays and talent shows, big kitchen to teach cooking, residential living spaces, baseball field etc…So now I can walk to work. Turns out I was needed there to film quarterly trainings, documentaries, run sound for plays and talent shows, drive a bus and take care of their 7 vehicles. I thought working with big time international movie stars and musicians was rewarding, not even close to this.
