Following Baroness Casey’s Independent Report regarding the National Audit on Group-based Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse ‘grooming gangs’, BBC Politics London reported on the London landscape of this issue with The Vavengers and partners commenting.
The National Audit on Group-based Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSEA) was commissioned by the Prime Minister and the Home Secretary in January 2025, and formally launched in February 2025.

Commenting on the issue interviewed by Helen Drew, Warda Mohamed, Founder of Lasting Support commented on the lack of safeguarding services for children in care and schools and Chris Wild, activist commented on the lack of coordinated approach to fix the social care safeguarding. The Vavengers CEO Sema Gornall joined the studio to discuss the issue in debth with Samantha Simmonds, the BBC Politics London host and were joined by Chris Philp the Shadow Home Secretary and Neil Coyle, Labour MP for Bermondsey.
