I read recently that "maturity in the kingdom does not look like distance. It looks like deeper dependence." Striving to increase appearances of maturity, advancement, independence have everything to do with religious systems and fallen mindsets of man. Jesus has a term for this, "white washed tombs." Jesus came to draw us with the truth of the Fathers Love and Kindness to restore relationship with a very real and living and intimate God.

He doesn't ask for our strengths but our weakness. The Kingdom of the World is Fallen. Like oil and water, the two Kingdoms do not mix. One is based on fear and survival. The other relies on love and provision. Jesus kingdom says perfect love is the remedy for all of this. In His Kingdom, we are led by a Spirit that cries Abba, Father! In His Kingdom the one who becomes ever increasingly childlike and dependent is advancing and maturing!

This is about letting go opening up to perfect love. This is about Trust not survival. This is about letting go as we are healed in love. This is about becoming teachable because we are no longer ruled by pride, fear, and offense. This is about being born again and becoming new, no longer holding onto old ideas and ways of being. This is all about seeking real encounters with the real and living God and desiring this Kingdom with every fiber of our being. He gives us this desire because He came to give us His heart, His Spirit, HIS VERY LIFE.
Oh, Jesus! Thank you! THANK YOU!!

Matthew 18
The Greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven
At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”
He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.

Causing to Stumble
“If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come! If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire. And if your eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.

Let go and lean on me. I am your strength. I am your rock.
I will be your hope, rest in me.
Rejoice, you are mine!

I am always here. I will sustain you, lift you up, hold you. You are my child. I speak to you all the time. Do you not hear me? Take the time to listen. Seek to be forgiven, turning from your ways: ways without the approval of the Lord. Find freedom in your heart and mind in God’s grace. Your Lord loves you.

You are beloved, my chosen one. I want to give you the desires of your heart, those that are my desire for you. Be still. Know that I am God. I love you. Be prepared to receive. Hands open and empty. You are my own. Yes, I am near you. Come closer. Find the treasure I have for you.

Turn to light and life eternal. Come to me. Even in darkness I am here. Look to the light. Let the light envelop you. Reach out and feel my presence. Don’t be disheartened, you are my child. Look to me and not to those things that bring distress. I will lift you up. I will be your peace.
