This is a system where Americans in each state cast their ballots for representatives who become delegates in the Congress. These delegates then cast their ballot to the Presidential candidates from their respective parties, though they have the option not to. But in recent years, pushback against the Electoral college has increased, particularly from young democrats. So is the Electoral College a true representative of the democratic voting methodology?
