In 20s, I received notice that the IRS was preparing to take my income tax refund. I owed it. They had the authority to take it.
But during that season, I did my very first 10 day fast. I prayed every single day.
And that year, they did not take it.
I am not saying I did not owe it. I handled what I owed later. But that year, God gave me mercy and delay.
Psalm 37:25 to 26 says, “I have never seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging bread… He is ever merciful and lends.”
This is my testimony of prayer, fasting, obedience, and divine timing.
