Описание: This is a rather rare set. It is extremely difficult to find the set in this condition. Lionel marketed these trains for kids and the locomotives were just too fragile to withstand being played with by a child. As of todays date the train is 58 years old. The set has static knuckle couplers which I find odd. The set was uncatalogued and was a promotional outfit for Sears and only 7300 were ever produced. Included was the # 963-100 Frontier Set, which consisted of a plastic log cabin, fencing, well pump, horses, cows, and windmill. I assume the Frontier Set was made by Plasticville. Lionel LLC. made a reissue with traction tires approx. 15 years ago (guess) Made In China. You can tell this is the original set by the large E-unit lockout switch located on top of the boiler in front of the steam whistle dome.
