Guardians of Legacy 十二福星 is ready to welcome everyone to celebrate yet another precious Chinese tradition.

Inspired by the 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗿 — this traditional Chinese folk art are handmade symbol of love and protection once sewn by parents and grandparents for their children. From this tradition, Javier expanded his creativity to fuse twelve Chinese Zodiac Guardians presenting them in Cloth Tiger concept, each representing an endearing form of blessing shaped by care, protection, and love.
Set within the heritage laneway of Kwai Chai Hong, the installation reflects a journey showcasing filial piety evident in generational love we all share — from being protected (as a child), to becoming protectors ourselves, caring for our aging parents and nurturing our own children.
This meaningful installation is a proud collaboration with guardian Malaysia @guardianmy who shares the same respect and love for heritage, culture, and the community.
