The VERY FIRST commercial recording of Wilhelm Furtwängler on 16th October, 1926 with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. A private archive originally transferred from a ultra rare 78rpm shellac of Polydor 66466 (matrix no.: 172/173bm). Recorded at the Hochschule fur Musik, Berlin.
