After IKEA, we went to have lunch and the place where we are having lunch serves their special buffet only on a certain time. We drove to the nearest Shakey's and they offer a lunch buffet that was just $15 per adult and $10 for kids 5-9 $5 for 4 and under.
The drive to Shakey's isn't far at all. It took us less than 10 minutes. Once we got to the restaurant, there were customers in there already, not as crowded, probably because it was a weekday. We headed to the cashier, you do have to pay first, then they give you your plates and you can choose your table. Daddy and Braden went to get their food first, while Mommy Gie stayed in the booth and waited until it was my turn. Food was good, their chicken was delish. Braden did enjoy their pizza and he had about 6-7 slices. Daddy enjoyed the food very much too! It's not fancy place as it is a typical pizza parlor, main thing is that the food is good, filling and the price is very reasonable.
After lunch, we drove to Bass Pro Shops, which was towards south and towards San Diego Not far from where Shakey's was. It is a store that we love going to because of its architectural deigns and displays are so cool!
