Great milestone in today's episode of my Grand Motorcycle trip around Indonesia. I crossed the equator from the southern hemisphere to the northern hemisphere and spent a bit of time around the Equator Monument in the small village of Khatulistiwa along the Trans Sulawesi highway on the east coast of the long northern arm of the island of Sulawesi. I'm grateful that the weather was nice, and that I was able to find a hotel before nightfall, especially after the last few days, riding in the rain, and struggling to find a place to stay.
