"What it did to us it raise a lot of questions why do we have to pay the price of bringing here gangs of terrorists from Tunis and
absolutely the leadership of the Palestinians did not show any willing for any peace or taking any peace steps and we have to pay
the price for it. It is something which is unspeakable all around the world. Imagine terrorists coming to your country and they
terrorise your leadership and they (the government) tell you to go because they (the government) are frightened of them (the terrorists. This is a surrender to terror and we cannot agree to it."

"If you can see the eucalyptus tree it was about 1/2 metre tall when I planted it 26 years ago. You can see the powerful tree - we've looked after it - now it's strong and its roots are deep this is kind of an example of how we feel here we have very deep roots
and we are not going anywhere. People who plant trees as such are very sure they will remain here and build there homes. I invite you
in 10-20 years time to come again and speak with us."

STORYLINE:

Jewish settlers expressed outrage on Friday at Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's warning that some of the homes they've built in the West Bank and Gaza might be moved as part of a plan to separate from the Palestinians if peace efforts remain stuck.

Sharon's "disengagement plan," which would also redeploy some troops and draw a temporary border in the West Bank also angered Palestinians, the United States and political allies and foes alike.

Some of the strongest dissent voiced on Friday came from the powerful community of 220,000 Israelis who have built 150
settlements on West Bank and Gaza Strip land that the Palestinians want for a future state.

In the absence of a peace plan, Israel would withdraw from some of those areas, but not all the way to the lines its soldiers crossed in the 1967 Mideast War, Sharon said.
