Is decolonization a metaphor? Can we decolonize the classroom?
This video questions the possibility of decolonizing the classroom in a university located in a former British colony like Hong Kong. The lecture discusses concepts such as "decolonization" and "settler colonialism" and evaluates whether a course called "decolonizing gender" taught by a member of the "comprador" class actually decolonizes or is just a form of "settler apologetics." And lastly, where do we go from here?
