Описание: Now you can REPORT THE MISUSE OF PAN for obtaining GST registration!
The functionality enables you to check misutilizations, control frauds and help officers in enquiry and cancellation of such registrations

Here are some details you must know:
• Your PAN can be misused for obtaining GST registration
• You can now check on GST portal if your PAN is misused
• Register a complaint on the GST portal
• Tax-officer scan take necessary action on the basis of your complaint
• Functionality available both pre-login and post-login

Perform the following steps to check if PAN has been misused:
• Visit the portal via www.gst.gov.in
• Click the Search Taxpayer - Search by PAN menu
• Enter the PAN of the taxpayer/person whose details are being searched for
• The results are displayed & to know more click the GSTIN/UIN hyperlink
• Select the GSTIN you want to report on the GST Portal (you can select multiple GSTINs)
• Enter the Date of Birth, Address, Email-Address and Mobile Number. Click PROCEED
• You’ll receive an OTP to verify (OTP sent on mobile will be different than OTP sent on email)
• Post this, you need to allow the Aadhaar Authentication process
• A success message is displayed when Aadhaar is successfully verified for e-KYC authentication
• Click OK and you’re done!

Points to be noted:
• You can register multiple complaints for fake GSTINs registered with PAN at one go
• It is necessary to get Aadhaar authenticated while registering complaint against a fake GSTIN registered with PAN
• Once you register complaint against a GSTIN registered with PAN, it escalates to the TAX OFFICIAL to examine & further processing
• Once a complaint is registered against a GSTIN, you cannot submit another request against the same GSTIN again
• You can track status of your application in ‘Track Status’ section of GST Portal (Screenshot to come)
