Aluminum comb, carefully sanded up top for total airtightness. 3 piece mouthpiece...thick flat blank which sits on top of the comb top, then slide, then solid stainless steel mouthpiece. Nicely textured stamped covers with a very nice feel in play. The harp oozes quality at every turn.

The harp has a heft in the hand, and responds to breath instantly, with an exquisite tonal harmonica footprint, or tone.

The mouthpiece screws go into very firmly set threaded tubes in the aluminum comb, with the bumpers being about 1mm in height, like little rubber washer donuts. Very nice setup and easy to switch out.

Reedplates appear to be plated brass, but not sure on that, in any event they are of high quality and sound great.

Reeds are spot welded, very durable setup. Smooth slide, exquisite button. Could not be more comfortable in play. Pleasing to be sure.

Impact oval injected zippered case, very nice. Can take a bonk or two.

I've said for years that the time would come when the Asian manufacturers would make a harp equal or superior to the best in the world. Kongsheng has delivered.

While I have no involvment in sales, I do believe that the harp is currently selling for $120 from Rockin' Rons in San Diego California, and in Europe on the Aliexpress Kongsheng official store. Expect price increases, and release of a 16 hole model in the future.
