Timing is everything, some like to say. Better to gamble and lose than to never play the game. While it is never the goal to ride in the rain, sometimes mother nature has other ideas. We will need to come back and experience this one in the dry at some point. If I am being honest, I prefered the "old" Cougar Ridge before it was turned into a bike park. It is still a ton of fun, it just somehow feels a bit out of place in this natural terrain outside of the park. At least it deals with the moisture remarkably well. At least they made some jumps on the sidewalk through the forest for the kids to play on. We like jumps. I sure have missed riding with my Canadian amigos Will and Mark of "the free radicals" Throw in a James Weingarten and we have the #followcamfriday dream team.
