Asian Markets Trade Lower Tracking Overnight Losses On Wall Street; Weak Start On D-Street Today?

Описание: Asia-Pacific markets were trading lower today. Japan’s Nikkei 225 was down 0.92%, while the Topix slipped 0.6%. South Korea’s Kospi fell 0.64%, and the Kosdaq declined 0.58%. Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was also in the red, down 0.76%.

Meanwhile, The GIFT Nifty was trading 0.08% or 22 points down at 26,008, which hinted a negative open for the Indian equity indices.

Overnight in the U.S, The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 557.24 points (1.18%) to close at 46,590.24. The S&P 500 dropped 0.92% to 6,672.41, while the Nasdaq Composite slipped 0.84% to finish at 22,708.07.
