The NHIndustries NH90 is a medium-sized, twin-engine, multi-role military helicopter. It was developed in response to NATO requirements for a battlefield helicopter which would also be capable of being operated in naval environments. The NH90 was developed and is manufactured by NHIndustries, a collaborative company, which is owned by Airbus Helicopters, Leonardo (formerly AgustaWestland) and Fokker Aerostructures. The first prototype conducted its maiden flight in December 1995; the type first entered operational service in 2007. As of January 2017, the NH90 has logged 127,000 flight hours in the armed forces of thirteen nations.
The NH90 has the distinction of being the first production helicopter to feature entirely fly by wire flight controls. There are two main variants, the Tactical Transport Helicopter (TTH) for army use and the navalised NATO Frigate Helicopter (NFH); each customer typically has various alterations and customisations made to their own NH90 fleets, such as different weapons, sensors and cabin arrangements, to meet their own specific requirements.

HIndustries NH90 (NATO Helicopter 90) on eurooppalainen ensisijaisesti sotilaskäyttöön suunniteltu joka sään kuljetushelikopteri, jonka valmistaja NHIndustries on osa EADS-konsernia.
NH90-helikoptereita on tilattu myös Suomen puolustusvoimille ja ne ovat tulleet maavoimien käyttöön. Patria Aviationin Hallin tehdas oli eräs NH90-helikoptereiden kokoonpanotehtaista. Suomeen tulleista 20 kopterista valmistettiin Hallissa 18. Loput kaksi lennettiin kokonaisina Saksasta.

Kaivopuiston lentonäytös on Suomen Ilmailumuseon järjestämä ilmailun suurtapahtuma, joka esittelee suomalaisen ilmailun historiaa, nykypäivää ja tulevaisuutta. Näytös lennetään Helsingissä, Kaivopuiston edustalla perjantai-iltana 9.6.2017. Esiintyjinä nähdään ainutlaatuinen kattaus ilma-aluksia, jotka edustavat suomalaisen ilmailun eri aikakausia. Tapahtuma levittäytyy maalle, merelle ja ilmatilaan.
Kaivopuiston lentonäytös on Ilmailumuseon Suomi lentää! -kampanjan päätapahtuma. Kampanja on osa Suomi 100 -juhlavuoden virallista ohjelmaa.

The Kaivopuisto Air Show is a huge, aviation-themed event, organized by the Finnish Aviation Museum. The Show will be held on Friday Night, June 9th 2017. Various aircraft types representing the past, present and future of Finnish Aviation will take part in the Show. The Show will take place in the air, land and sea.
The Kaivopuisto Air Show is organized by the Finnish Aviation Museum. The Finnish Aviation Museum is a national specialized museum of aviation, and one of six aviation-themed museums in Finland.
Kaivopuisto has a long tradition as a venue of popular Air Shows. Many Air Shows and other aviation-themed public events were held in the area, especially during the early years of Finnish Independence, to promote the Art of Flying for the public. The last large-scale Air Show of several participants was held in 1955, but many individual aerobatic groups, both from Finland and abroad, have performed in the area since.
The Air Shows of the early 1950’s featured frontline fighters of the Finnish Air Force – Messerschmitts and Vampires – fearless wing walkers and other performers.
