🔹 What You Need:
Silicone chillum (hookah bowl)
Fork or packing tool
HMD (Heat Management Device like Roger, etc.)
✅ Step 1: Fluff the Flavour
🧺 Take the molasses and loosen it up with a fork or fingers. No chunks. You want it airy so heat flows evenly.
✅ Step 2: Fill, Don’t Press
🥄 Lightly drop the flavor into the bowl up to the rim level.
⚠️ Don’t overpack or press down – you’ll choke the airflow.
Tip: Leave a 1–2mm gap between flavor and HMD base for heat flow.
✅ Step 3: Clean the Edges
🧻 Wipe off any flavor stuck on the outer rim.
This ensures the HMD seals properly and doesn’t burn unevenly.
✅ Step 4: Attach HMD
🔥 Place your HMD directly on top. Make sure:
It fits snugly (not loose)
The coals aren’t directly touching the flavor
Use 2–3 coals depending on HMD design
✅ Step 5: Rest and Heat
⏱️ Wait 2–3 mins after putting the coals. Let the bowl preheat so the session starts strong.
🔁 BONUS TIPS:
💨 Use dense pack for dark leaf tobacco, fluff pack for lighter blends.
♨️ Rotate coals every 10–15 mins to avoid harshness.
🔄 Mid-session? Use coal rotation or remove 1 to control heat.
