Описание: As we wind down another calendar year we reflect on the strength, perseverance and heart required in the fight for human rights, especially for immigrants. During this November 2021 presentation, we hear from a pro bono attorney team at Winston & Strawn LLP about how they won asylum with a man who is one step closer to reuniting with his family; a young person who recently received protection under Special Immigrant Juvenile Status after fighting his case for seven years; and Caitlin Tupper, director of the Anti-Violence Project at the Center on Halsted, who shared how our collaborative efforts support LGBTQ+ immigrants.
